[Netarchivesuite-users] Legacy ARC files

Hi Jim.
You can always upload any arcfiles to the Netarchivesuite bitarchive using the aforementioned Upload tool.
But you will not be able to browse the data using the embedded netarchiveSuite viewerproxy system.
The recommended access to this data is using a wayback installation.
The documentation for this is still rudimentary. You may want to contact Colin Rosenthal (csr at statsbiblioteket.dk) for details about this.
He is currently on vacation, but will return on the coming Monday.
Best Regards
Søren

I'm afraid that there are only arc files left over from our old installation, and the new one had to be up and running within a matter of hours so as to be able to crawl the sites pre/post UK general election.
Having a new, separate (and empty) installation of netarchive on a different machine may be an option. Would the ingest process mentioned earlier be ok for resurrecting the data?
Kind regards
