[Netarchivesuite-users] Legacy ARC files

Hi Jim.
You can use the Upload tool to ingest the legacy arc files into the archive associated with NetarchiveSuite.
http://netarkivet.dk/suite/Additional_Tools_Manual_3.12#head-825974b9effef0d6fe6afaccaefc1d9d6fe6a70e

However, you cannot browse the legacy content from within NetarchiveSuite.
To access the content, the easiest way is to set up a wayback installation (http://archive-access.sourceforge.net/projects/wayback/) and let wayback have direct access to your arcfiles.

Bundled with the wayback-software are tools for indexing the arcfiles, so wayback can look up the data.

Best Regards
Søren V. Carlsen, QA of NetarchiveSuite

Hi all
I've got a new single machine installation of Netarchive 3.12, set up exactly as laid out in the quickstart manual
The national library has arc files that were harvested using an old version of fedora that was held on a machine that no longer exists.
Can someone what is the best way to get old arc files into a new installation of Netarchive?

Thanks very much
