[Netarchivesuite-users] changing storage location

Dear Jim

I assume that you are running a 'standalone' NAS configuration (as described in the QuickStart) on a Linux machine, and the new disc is a network mounted drive from a Windows server.

This can be done quite simple by reconfigure the BitarchiveApplication to store the arc-files on the new mounted disc.
If you have the default setup for the QuickStart, then you do this by going into the file: settings_BitarchiveApplication.xml, and change the setting: settings.archive.bitarchive.baseFileDir from the current 'bitarkiv' into a directory on the new mounted disc.
Afterwards the BitarchiveApplication should be restarted for the changes to take effect.

Best Regards
Jonas

Hi all

I have installed Netarchive 3.12 according to the relevant quick start manual and it is harvesting data to my local machine.
Our network admins have mounted a windows drive to the machine and want new netarchive harvests to be stored on that drive. I was wondering how to reconfigure my netarchive installation to do this

Thank you in advance
