[Netarchivesuite-devel] About new job parameter 'maxJobRunningTime'

Hi Nicolas.
The two settings are different levels in NetarhiveSuite. The new item tells Heritrix to terminate after a given number of seconds (disabled with 0 as the number). The other is used to set a job to FAILED, if we don't hear from it within a week's time. This is primarily a clean-up feature, whereas the other feature sets a limit to the running time of the harvester.

Emne: [Netarchivesuite-devel] About new job parameter 'maxJobRunningTime'
Hi,
I noticed in release 3.15 that a new maxJobRunningTime parameter is now put in a job's order.xml. Is this mechanism superceding the former job timeout mechanism? If so the code in the HarvestScheduler (stopTimeoutJobs method) that stops jobs which have reached their timeout should be removed? Am I correct?
Best regards,
