[Netarchivesuite-devel] Release test has started

Hi all

The 3.17.0 release test<https://sbforge.org/display/NAS/3.17.0+release+test> is now ready to start. Please find the tests assigned to you on the release test page.


Note also that the release test now includes a new 'Test New Functionality' section based on a JIRA extract. This section lists all the issues solved in the version under release test.

A new issues status 'Ready for release test' has been added. The status is used after a review is complete to indicated the issue is now ready for release test. When the issue has been release tested the status is changed to 'Resolved'.

All issues should have a 'Inspector' defined. The role of the inspector is to ensure the issue is defined and solved correctly by reviewing and testing the issue.

All issues should have a verification specification, which can be found on the issues 'Test' Tab. Use this section which can be used during the release to verify the new functionality.

Please run though all your 3.17.0 issues (found on the 3.17.0 release test<https://sbforge.org/display/NAS/3.17.0+release+test> page) and add any missing inspector and verification information.


We still have a handful of issue not yet marked as 'Ready for release test'. Please have a look at these issues as soon as possible, so we can finish the release.
